Moore

Defenders: 3rd Regiment of the Tartan Brigade
Rebels: Terran Resistance (non-Mech, irregular foot infantry, unknown size)
Battles: Southern Serpentasia (Region)
Briefing:
Nearly swallowed up by the Dragon in the wake of the Amaris Coup was the shared world of Moore. Vast deposits of germanium, titanium, and uranium made this watery planet highly prized to both the Terran Hegemony and the Draconis Combine. House Cameron and House Kurita agreed to joint ownership rather than fight for sole possession of Moore and possibly damage the world in the process. This arrangement has allowed the planet to escape numerous battles over the years and resulted in the growth of a large pacifist movement on Moore. A shinning example of cooperation during the Star League its citizens were proud of their ideal society. The Amaris Coup seemed to vindicate this relationship once more. Thanks to Combine troops safeguarding Moore from the Usurper the grateful populace avoided the latest interstellar conflict. Only time will tell if Moore can sidestep the impending showdown between the New Republic and the Draconis Combine.
The Draconis Combine has been remarkably tolerant of the citizenry of Moore while it has lived under its benevolent guardianship. Many Terrans have actually welcomed the DCMS on their native world as a force for good. The 3rd Regiment of the Tartan Brigade is continuing to assemble and train on planet but has never once been called on for crowd control. The ISF has even managed to keep a low profile delegating much of their role to the Civilian Guidance Corps (or CGC for short, they are the Draconis Civilian Police Force also known as the Friendly Persuaders) now operating world wide. The Draconis Combine Admiralty (DCA) keeps a tight watch on the star system at all times preventing covert insertions. Only a tiny Terran Resistance group, known as the Gnats, continues to violently oppose the Combine’s occupation of their homelands in Southern Serpentasia. This small band of freedom fighters established during the opening days of the Amaris Coup continues to thwart all efforts to destroy them. In truth the swampy island terrain of the planet has prevented the DCMS from bringing overwhelming force to bear against them. Far more disturbing to the Combine are the rash of non-violent protests now sweeping the planet. The denizens of Moore recently learned of the Coordinator’s failure to participate in the Centuran Accords and regard this act as uncooperative and potentially belligerent. While this will not motivate the people of Moore to fight the Dragon an ISF crackdown, which appears to be in the works, may.
